Valntines Day treats

I spent the day baking stuff as a surprise for my family after dinner. I made "Melting Moments Cookies" that I got off of another blog that I cannot remember the name of. (I really need to start copying the names of the blogs down) I also made chocolate pretzel rods and chocolate covered nutter butters. All covered with sprinkles of course! :)
My husband decided to help me make supper last night because he knows I really don't like to make chicken fried steak. I really don't know why, I just don't...maybe it is the sticky fat fingers you get after dipping the steak into the flour and milk...So, we made chicken fried steak, fried potatoes and gravy. It was yummy!

Valentines day

I didn't have a whole lot of money this year to spend on Valentines Day so...I searched and searched online for things to do for my husband. I found this idea on another blog...I am so sorry i cannot remember which one or I would include it in this post. I absolutely LOVE Starbucks French Vanilla coffee so this was perfect!! I decorated the box with scrapbooking paper and embellishments. In the bottles I put pistachios, good and plenty's, gobstoppers and hugs and kisses. he will love it even though he will be aggravated with me because we don't have money for4 him to get me anything until payday Friday. I plan ahead and he doesn't. :)
